The system checks supported domain extensions and uses the configured availability sources to determine whether the exact domain appears available.
Availability results are cached for a limited period to improve performance and avoid unnecessary repeated upstream checks. Available results have a shorter verification window because domain availability can change quickly.
A domain must have a sufficiently recent verified available result before Kimnet allows it to proceed through the normal checkout flow.
An availability result is not a permanent reservation. Another person can register a domain between the availability check and completion of registration.
If the system cannot obtain a reliable availability answer, it can return an unknown result instead of pretending that the domain is available.
Try another supported extension or check again later when a domain cannot be verified. Do not send payment for a domain outside the normal order process based only on an old availability result.
