Open the relevant hosting service in your customer account and use the package-change option when it is available.
For an upgrade, the system can calculate an amount based on the remaining service period. An invoice is created for the upgrade amount. The package change is applied to the hosting account after the required payment has been fully verified.
A downgrade is different because moving to a smaller package can reduce available resources. Eligible downgrades are scheduled for the appropriate renewal point rather than necessarily being applied immediately.
Before requesting a downgrade, make sure the hosting account fits within the lower package's resource limits. Disk usage is particularly important because an account cannot safely be moved to a package whose storage allocation is already below the amount in use.
A paid upgrade can still require technical processing on the hosting server. If that server-side change fails, the payment remains recorded while Kimnet investigates the package-change request.
Protected infrastructure and services that are not managed through the normal customer lifecycle may not support customer package changes.
