Navigate to the document root used by the website. For the primary website this is commonly the public web directory configured for the account, but you should confirm the actual location before deleting or replacing existing files.
Use Upload to send the required files to the server. If you upload an archive, extract it into the correct directory after the upload completes.
Check the folder structure after extraction. A common mistake is placing the entire website inside an extra nested folder, which can prevent the expected homepage from loading at the domain root.
Ensure the website has the appropriate entry file for the application, such as an index file, and preserve configuration files required by the application.
Do not overwrite configuration files unless the replacement is intentional. Database credentials, application keys and environment settings can be stored in configuration files.
After uploading, test the website using the normal domain. If an error occurs, note the exact message and review the application requirements before making repeated changes.
For large migrations or a website you are not comfortable moving manually, contact Kimnet support to discuss the appropriate assistance.
