Moving to a smaller package reduces the resources available to the hosting account. Kimnet therefore schedules eligible downgrades for the appropriate renewal point instead of necessarily applying them immediately.
The account must also fit within the limits of the lower package. Disk usage is particularly important because an account should not be moved to a package whose storage allocation is already below its current usage.
Before requesting a downgrade, review your resource usage and the limits of the intended package.
If necessary, remove genuinely unnecessary data or choose a package that can safely accommodate the account.
