A credit note is a formal accounting record documenting a credit associated with a customer and, where applicable, an invoice.
Credit notes can record the amount, currency, reason and reference information required for the accounting history.
Issuing a credit note does not automatically place spendable money into the Kimnet Wallet.
The Wallet is the feature used for account funds that can actually be applied to eligible invoices.
This separation prevents an accounting document from silently becoming a cash-like customer balance without an explicit process.
Invoice adjustments are also different. An adjustment changes an eligible invoice by adding a charge or applying a reduction while preserving an adjustment record.
If you receive a credit note and are unsure how the credit will be handled, review the document and contact Kimnet support for the applicable settlement or account-credit arrangement.
