What Happens When an Invoice Becomes Overdue?

Understand overdue billing and how it can affect an eligible managed hosting service.

An invoice becomes overdue when an outstanding balance remains unpaid beyond its applicable due date.

An overdue invoice is a billing status. The effect on a service depends on the type of invoice and the service lifecycle.

For eligible managed hosting renewals, Kimnet can apply a grace period before automated suspension becomes appropriate.

The lifecycle system checks the managed service, its renewal billing and the verified payment state before taking a suspension action.

Not every overdue invoice means that every service on the customer account will be suspended. Billing and lifecycle actions are linked to the relevant records.

Kimnet does not use automatic termination as a routine substitute for overdue suspension. Termination is a separate destructive administrative action.

If you receive an overdue notice, open the invoice and confirm the amount, service and due date. Complete payment through an available method as soon as possible.

If you have already paid, check the invoice and payment history before paying again. Contact support with the invoice number if verification appears delayed.
